About Expressions

Photographing people has been a passion of mine for many years. I love to capture that perfect look, or that natural smile your child gives you every day. Family is my life right now. I am a mom of two beautiful, fun, and energetic children, and I have a wonderful, supportive husband. I surround myself with other wonderful mothers and their families. It brings me more joy than anything to turn a child who may be a little grumpy in the first few minutes of a session, into that happy, fun child you know, who isn't afraid to be themselves.

My photographs tell a true story. Children are my specialty, and photographing a child outdoors, or in their own home is the perfect setting for true photographs. I like to bring out every little expression that your child has. It results in a fun, natural, and long lasting memory that you will have for life.

We can enjoy a session in your home, backyard, or in one of Delaware's many beautiful parks or beaches. I strongly encourage families to have their portraits done outdoors, or at their home because it gives the portrait a more personal touch. My clients have really enjoyed the at home sessions, as well as the locations we have gone to. I do have backgrounds, but prefer to photograph children in a setting where they can be themselves, and not have to "pose".

I have been a professional photographer for 10 years, and started Expressions Photography, on my own, in 2005. I have loved getting to know all the wonderful families that I have photographed through the years, and can't wait to meet yours!
